Gear Policies

NZLARPS maintains gear libraries in each of its regions to provide a central store of props and costumes for games. Each region sets its own policies for access and pricing.

Auckland Gear policy

Auckland charges a gear fee to both projects and affiliates. View Auckland's gear policy here (including pricing). Requests to use gear should be made to auckland.gear@nzlarps.org.

Wellington Gear policy

Wellington provides gear free to projects and profit-donated games. Other events wanting to use significant amounts of gear must pay a gear fee of $50 for an evening game, $100 for a day game, or $200 for a weekend-long event, plus $50 if they are using weapons. Requests to use gear should be made using this form or by emailing wellington.gear@nzlarps.org.

Greater Waikato Gear policy

The Greater Waikato region has no gear policy as yet. Requests to use gear should be made to hamilton.gear@nzlarps.org.

South Island Gear Policy

The South Island region has no gear policy as yet, and not much gear. Any gear requests should be made to southisland.gear@nzlarps.org.
