Yesterday a mailer arrived with your name scrawled on it. No return address. No details. Perhaps it sat for a moment, half discarded, weighing on your mind. Purhaps you felt the pull of fate the instant you picked it up.

You open it and spill out the contents: torn shreds of Auckland area newspapers and a hand written note that appears to be an invitation.

But who sent it, and why?
