Tales of a rare treasure from far flung shores have reached the King's Court. The power it promises threatens the delicate balance of peace on the continent by fueling the Stravin Empire's expansive ambitions. Envoys of the guilds have gathered their most intrepid explorers in the outlying Islands of The Anderlynds, answering a call from the King for privateers to intercept the Empire's precious cargo, and uncover its source.
In a distant land, with home teetering on the edge of conflict, the intrepid few will unravel a story of gunpowder, magic, and intrigue. Will you seize fame and fortune, or will your tale end in the briny deep?
Wyrmscale LARP is a project being run by Brad Thompson, Shae Cook, and Ben Seymour in the Auckland region. It will feature a sandbox style of play that encourages player agency to progress and direct the story. We will be setting sal from Anderlynd with a prologue day game in November 2026, and arriving on uncharted shores for weekend-long events starting in 2027.
