Every 72 years, the Cabal sees a shift in power - from Pillar to Keystone with the most powerful witches leading their covens. It has been this way since the dawn of modern witchdom. The chain has never been broken. Until Aotearoa's Cabal.
Some would say magic has become untethered. Lines of power, shattered. A Keystone chosen by chance, not by ruling. Magic itself choosing new pillars to represent covens with which there were no ties.
Rumors have circled, hints that Pillars and Keystones of other lands should step in to fix the mess. But the ripples of the Cabal's failure have rocked the magical community in Aotearoa to its core. The Keystone has heard the pain of the covens and has called a moot. But will the concerns be strong enough to re-balance magic?
