After successfully spying on the Partners, the scope of Walter Cain Sr's plans have been revealed. First, he intends to cast a ritual from Consequence Colorado, through the rift, to drain all the fate from Consequence Riftside. While devastating for everyone trapped Riftside, this is merely a trial for the power-hungry Partner who is simply doing this as a road test for his main event - drawing all the fate from everyone in the United States of America.
But first, he wants to make sure improvements to the ritual will eliminate the unexpected complications that arose when the 5 Partners cast the original ritual over 300 years ago.
He plans to cast the trial ritual on New Years Eve - a powerful and auspicious day. He's made it clear he expects his (former) allies Annabelle Johonson and Jean Pelletier to be at his side - along with two others who have yet to be chosen. Annabelle and Jean have assured the folks Consequence that they do not want Cain to succeed, and they've offered their help in stopping the ritual. But can they be trusted? The Answer, Humility, would just as soon gobble them to make them pay for their actions. Just like it would Cain, and like it did to the Stag.
Meanwhile, the remaining Foundry presence Riftside is a problem that must be addressed - in no small part because the leaders of the Fateless Courts demand their removal. The terms of an agreement for a peaceful co-existence with the settlers going forward must be concluded.
And of course there's the question of what to do next. Has Consequence become a permanent home for the settlers, or are they ready to return back to earth?
But none of this matters if Cain Sr succeeds in his goals, and everyone in Consequence is stripped of their fate. So everyone must gather together to bring their talents, ideas, and cunning to work in a combined series of attacks to bring down the Bull and take back the fate he stole...

Tickets go on sale Friday 6 February 2026 at 7pm through Eventbrite. We are not accepting new PCs for game 5. But if you attended any of the past Consequence events as a player, you can purchase a ticket to this event. If you have any questions about this please get in touch! Crew are always welcome and we have unlimited crew spaces available.
