“You wake up with your memories fracturing around you. You're going somewhere, and there's something wrong, and you know these people here with you, or maybe you only think you do. All you really know for sure is that you can hear this Bell.”
The Bell is a two-to-three hour science fiction suspense game for 12-20 players by Stephanie and Catherine Pegg. Inspirations include The Fountain (Darren Aronofsky), Five-Twelfths of Heaven (Melissa Scott), Vacuum Flowers (Michael Swanwick) and the works of Cordwainer Smith.
Character sheets are chosen by the players at the start of the game; if there are any themes you want to avoid, the GM will help guide you away from the roles that include them.
Date, time and location still to be confirmed. (It will either be on the 7th or the 14th.)
Price: Free!
Costuming: Plain black clothing you can move comfortably in.
Potential themes and some backstory elements across the 20 characters in The Bell:
During the character selection stage at the beginning of the game, you’re not stuck with the first character sheet you pick up - if you read it over and decide the character isn’t right for you, you can put it down and move on to something else.
