The Defence of Nurumburg

Each spring from the northern wastes pour waves of raiding savages into the peaceful farm lands of the Empire. Rumour has it that the great city of Praag has fallen to the invaders who now march into the heart of the Empire. Plundering and looting as they go. The small village of Nurumburg believes itself safe from the chaotic tide flowing south however the Viscount has ordered that all able bodied persons are to be trained as a militia force to aid in the defence of the province! Men-at-arms from the Viscount's own army have been dispatched to assist in the training of local forces!
