Auckland's annual larp convention returns for its 10th year, with a mix of theatre-style and live-combat games.
NZLARPS is pleased to present Chimera, the New Zealand larp convention.
Each year larpers from around the country gather in Auckland for a weekend packed full of a wide variety of games.
Chimera is divided into six rounds of games, starting with the first round on the Friday night, followed by three rounds on Saturday, and ending with two rounds on Sunday. Each round is three hours long and provides several larps for you to choose from. The exception is the big Saturday night game, where upwards of 100 players get together for one huge game.
Chimera is a perfect event for new larpers, because you get to try out a wide range of larps and see what you like. It's also a great place for the old hands to try out new larps and catch up with friends. If you're running a larp, Chimera takes away the hassle of finding a venue and organising players.
